This in-person course has you working with the cups more than half the time, so you will perform as well as receive this amazing service. MMI is proud to host the quality CE courses offered by The Doreeno Method. The cost of the course includes the CE training and the purchase a custom set of LURE Essentials cups for $60 (a $120 value) that you will use in class and take home with you to continue your practice.

Learning Objectives:

  • What cupping is and how it works, including identifying the benefits of receiving a cupping service.
  • How to identify what client conditions would benefit from receiving a cupping treatment.
  • How to perform different cupping styles (static, glide, flash).
  • Specific cupping treatments for the neck, back, arms, and legs.
  • How to clean and sanitize cups post treatment.


What You Need to Bring:

1. Linens

Bring the typical linens for full-draped practice and a face cradle cover.

2. Lubricant of Choice
An oil lubricant that does not quickly absorb works best, but bring the lubricant that you're most likely to use in your practice.


Doreen Ellinwood, the "Doreen" in The Doreeno Method, became a massage therapist in 2005 and has been providing massage therapist training ever since. In 2023 Doreen became accredited by the National Certification Board For Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) to provide Continuing Education Credits for massage therapy classes.
