This course provides the perfect balance of lecture and hands-on practice. Learners will gain the skills to become adept in decreasing resting muscle tension and myofascial trigger points.

The first portion of the course involves a discussion of the use and application of techniques, all expected outcomes of practice, the evidence behind the practice, cautions, and CIs. The second portion of the course provides learners with a practical approach which will instill confidence while working with clients presenting with myofascial trigger points.

Coaching on technical application and proper body mechanics is major part of Jennifer Carlson's wheelhouse. You can be sure that you are in good hands with Jen and will be guided in the right direction for a successful and lengthy career.

The NMT for Trigger Point Therapy class was incredibly informative and I would highly recommend! Jen's expertise in massage and extensive knowledge of human body is truly commendable and allows her to provide valuable insights and guidance to her students. Not only is she well-versed in the technical aspects, but she also possesses a genuine passion for her craft!

We went out on an adventure to E. Brunswick to try a new course "Intro to Neuromuscular Techniques for Trigger Point Therapy"! Totally worth the drive. Me and Julio learned some new things, refreshed on some things, and are excited to implement our skills onto future sessions.

I enjoyed the small size of the class. It made sure everyone had time to ask questions, elaborate on topics, and share past experiences with others without worrying about holding up the lecture and getting backed up. Jen gave everyone the chance to fully understand her class and has a lot of relating knowledge. I look forward to taking Advanced Neuromuscular Techniques!
