Meet Your Instructor

Kristen O'Grady, LMT, M.Ed., is a licensed massage therapist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, educator, and Head of Kinetic Chain Release® USA. As the owner of Embodied Healing, LLC, she specializes in Kinetic Chain Release® and Connective Tissue Release, helping clients improve movement, reduce pain, and restore balance through gentle, evidence-informed bodywork.

Kristen completed her Kinetic Chain Release® training directly through the KCR Academy and has continued to deepen her understanding of the method through advanced study and mentorship. Her professional journey also includes time studying healing traditions alongside Indigenous practitioners in Hawaii—an experience encouraged by KCR founder Hugh Gilbert—which strengthened her appreciation for heart-centered presence, therapeutic connection, and the body's remarkable capacity to heal.

Known for blending precise instruction with warmth and encouragement, Kristen creates learning experiences that help practitioners feel grounded, capable, and confident in their hands-on skills. Whether teaching massage therapists, nurses, yoga instructors, personal trainers, parents, or caregivers, her goal is to make Kinetic Chain Release® accessible, practical, and immediately applicable in everyday practice.
